FERIC FENG

Feric Feng is a designer and artist passionate about bridging the worlds of art, technology, design, and storytelling across media and diverse cultures. Feric believes that fantasy drives evolution, inspiring innovation and creativity.

 

His experimental animations garnered international acclaim, being featured at prestigious events such as the New York International Short Film Festival, Holland International Animation Festival, Ottawa International Animation Festival, and Nyexpo Festival. His work also appeared in publications like Mainichi Japanese Newspaper, Coast To Coast, 72-Dpi Animate, and IdN (International Designer Network) Magazine HK.

As a Conceptual Designer at Square-Enix, Feric focused on conceptual and design development for cutting-edge CG animation feature films, including Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Ani-matrix, and Atom Boy.

​

In 2010, Feric co-founded Fevolution, a company dedicated to designing interactive content. Under his creative leadership, Fevolution collaborated with high-profile clients such as Google IO, Sony PlayStation VR, MSD, China Trust Bank, and HTC VIVE. His work at Fevolution emphasized developing user-friendly experiences and creating impactful augmented and virtual reality games and applications. He led a talented team of game designers, UI/UX designers, technologists, and artists on groundbreaking projects such as Eggotogo, XETA, and the Togater AR Social Platform.

Feric's passion for art, design, and technology has been recognized and featured in numerous esteemed publications and institutions, including the AIGA 50/50 Book, Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum, San Jose Museum of Art, Oklahoma Christian University, Pictoplasma, Hi-Fructose, Empty, Black & White Graphic, Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, Emigre, WIRED, The New York Times, and Metropolis. His notable clients include Microsoft, IBM, Wired Magazine, NY Times, DreamWorks, Prada, Miu Miu, and Nike.

Feric holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York and an MFA from Yale School of Art.
